PRE COLLEGE PROGRAMSColleges offer many programs for elementary, middle and high school students. These range from summer camps in athletics, art and music to classes Junior and Seniors in High School can take for credit. Visiting and spending time on a college campus, even as a small child, can have a positive impact on a student. It gives them a level of comfort with the campus and how things work. It can also expose them academically to subjects they are not covering in their every day classes. To learn what programs the colleges and universities offer in your area, visit their website and search for Pre-college programs, camps, children’s programs, community events, or high school programs. You can also call the campus operator or Office of Admissions and ask which programs are offered.
